According to the British newspaper " The Sun ," the incident occurred when the passenger attacked the cabin crew in a fit of rage. Cabin crew attempted to calm the man down with a restraint kit, but were unable to subdue him, even after the plane landed.
The incident caused significant unrest among passengers and crew. The crew called for assistance in a panic, while 220 passengers, including children, witnessed the incident. Some passengers actively attempted to intervene to assist the cabin crew. After landing in Birmingham, West Midlands Police arrested the man and took him away in handcuffs.
